MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women, and leaders, in relationship with Jesus.

Each meeting will include brunch, a speaker, discussion group time, and a craft. While you are busy enjoying your time with other moms, your preschoolers (age birth to 5 years old) will enjoy being taken care of in our church nursery.*
NOTE: For the Spring 2017 semester we will be able to open one childcare class for Kindergarteners through 5th graders.  This will allow mothers of preschoolers and elementary students that homeschool to attend our daytime group.  Space is limited and you must register online for childcare prior to the meeting.

Please register for MOPS childcare when you register for MOPS using the form at the bottom of the page.

The cost for each meeting is $3 in order to help offset the cost of childcare, crafts, and our speakers. Please come see what we are all about; your first meeting is free!

Istrouma MOPS is a part of a larger organization, MOPS International.  All moms are required to join MOPS International and are expected to pay the MOPS International fee of $24.95 by their third meeting.

*Istrouma MOPS has childcare for children, birth to age 5 (not in kindergarten). We encourage all mothers to take advantage of our childcare in order to get the most out of your time at MOPS.  We understand that at times you may need to have your newborn in the meeting with you.  However, we encourage all children ages 6 months and older be in childcare.
